adaptogen brownies
A magic little twist on regular brownies.
These are made with Locolove chocolate + Superfeast reishi powder;
my fav adaptogen for immune support, antioxidants & calming qualities. You could totally sub out for normal chocolate or choc chips - still plenty of calming benefits in both :)
INGREDIENTS:
2 tbsp chia seeds
1/2 cup almond butter
1/4 cup maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup almond milk
2 tbsp coconut flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp reishi mushroom powder
pinch salt
1/2 cup cacao powder
1 block chocolate broken into pieces
METHOD:
+ Preheat oven to 175 degrees celsius.
+ Make ‘chia egg’ by mixing 2 tbsp chia seeds + 6 tbsp water & leave to combine to form a gel.
+ In a bowl, mix together almond butter, maple syrup, vanilla & milk. Lastly add in chia egg.
+ Add in flour, baking soda, reishi powder, salt + cacao & mix throughly. Lastly add in chocolate.
+ Bake for 25-30 mins - making sure they’re cooked by inserting knife into the middle.
+ Leave to cool completely before slicing
